I’ve always loved sitting for a 30-minute YouTube video that takes a deep dive into a certain topic. This interest of mine led me to produce two video series for the LSU Cold Case Project - a student-led organization that investigates cases in Louisiana and Mississippi that have long been forgotten about. One of the series won a national Investigative Reporters and Editors award for the Student-Large category. I have spoke in front of students and reporters talking about my experience producing these series’. I say that is one of my favorite things to do because I hope I can inspire students to go against the grain of the typical degree path and try some things out.
